Dr. Jason Crist
Doctor of Chiropractic
At age 19, Dr. Crist injured himself while lifting weights, and it left him with two different options: suffer through back pain for the rest of his life or have surgery. Since neither of those options sounded appealing to him, he consulted with his mother who recommended chiropractic care. After a bit of skepticism, he decided to give it a shot.
Chiropractic care changed his life when nothing else seemed to help. After his 5th visit to the Chiropractor, Dr. Crist was pain free. It was at that time he knew how he wanted to spend the rest of his life – helping others as he was helped through this amazing newfound science and art known as “Chiropractic”.
After graduating from Chiropractic College and spending the first 25 years of his life in Minneapolis, Dr. Crist chose to move to Williamson County in 1995. Crist Chiropractic was established in 1999 and has helped over 14,000 patients. The practice has evolved throughout the years but still prides itself on taking a patient-centered approach to wellness. The clinic exists to help as many people as possible achieve optimal health through natural and holistic means. The team at Crist Chiropractic is committed to restoring the body’s natural ability to express its true health potential. We strive to serve our patients and our community with a spirit of complete caring by radiating health and promoting well-being.
He is highly regarded in the Nashville area as a leading Chiropractor working with a wide range of conditions and patients. He graciously accepted the award of “Tennessee Chiropractor of the Year by the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. On a personal note, he recently married his beautiful wife Michelle in May 2015. They have recently welcomed the birth of their first child Connor in February 2016.

When I moved to the Nashville area in June of 2016, I came in search of a job. This started my career in the field of chiropractic. I began a job at an office where I learned all the “ins” and “outs” of chiropractic, including all of the health benefits. Not only did I work for a chiropractor, my wife and I began seeking care at the office. We began to see so many changes in our health that I became a believer in chiropractic! I had such a great experience with my own care while helping aid in others’ lives being changed daily. From seeing children overcome bedwetting and ADHD to adults who are finally free from years of pain, I have loved every minute of working for chiropractors.
When I started at Crist Chiropractic in November of 2017, I was looking to further my knowledge of chiropractic. I was welcomed into the family here as we all work alongside Dr. Crist in providing the best care possible! Doing all of this while still being part of a life-changing profession and seeing people overcome different issues is why I’ll be here for a long time!
In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and singing at church, going to the park with my wife and dogs, and watching sports! LET’S GO PENS!

Growing up in the Tampa Bay area I was always impressed with the various fighter jets and other aircraft from nearby military installations. This led me to serve in the U.S. Air Force straight out of High School. After my term I still wanted to serve the community so I became a Firefighter/EMT. At that time I pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration with a Concentration in Emergency Management. Unfortunately an old injury was aggravated and cut my career in the fire service short and I started a career in the film industry.
After seeking many treatment routes for my chronic back pain I began looking for ways to avoid pain medication and take a more “whole body” approach to treatment. That approach led me to chiropractic care. Knowing that I still wanted to continue working in health care I joined Dr. Crist’s team which has proven to be an ideal blend of skills and interest.
In my free time I enjoy playing outdoors with my wife and three children, working on my motorcycle, and building just about anything that comes to mind! - Go Rays!

In college, I made the life-changing decision to start getting chiropractic
care thanks to my sister, Rachel, who will officially be a Doctor of
Chiropractic in 2021- so, I guess the love for the field runs in my family. My
spine is now in a lot better alignment, and the migraines and low back pain
that I had are essentially gone. I still love getting weekly adjustments to
make sure that I stay in good health.
I am a Nashville native who graduated from the University of Tennessee
with my Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2017- and yes, my blood
bleeds orange. Go Vols!
Some of my favorite things to do are cook, spend all of my free time
on the lake, and watch Netflix re-runs.
I am very thankful to be back in the chiropractic field after spending the last part of my life sitting in a desk and staring at a computer every day. I love seeing the difference chiropractic care makes!
