Dr. Jason Crist

Doctor of Chiropractic

At age 19, Dr. Crist injured himself while lifting weights, and it left him with two different options: suffer through back pain for the rest of his life or have surgery. Since neither of those options sounded appealing to him, he consulted with his mother who recommended chiropractic care. After a bit of skepticism, he decided to give it a shot.

Chiropractic care changed his life when nothing else seemed to help. After his 5th visit to the Chiropractor, Dr. Crist was pain free. It was at that time he knew how he wanted to spend the rest of his life – helping others as he was helped through this amazing newfound science and art known as “Chiropractic”.

After graduating from Chiropractic College and spending the first 25 years of his life in Minneapolis, Dr. Crist chose to move to Williamson County in 1995. Crist Chiropractic was established in 1999 and has helped over 14,000 patients. The practice has evolved throughout the years but still prides itself on taking a patient-centered approach to wellness. The clinic exists to help as many people as possible achieve optimal health through natural and holistic means. The team at Crist Chiropractic is committed to restoring the body’s natural ability to express its true health potential. We strive to serve our patients and our community with a spirit of complete caring by radiating health and promoting well-being.

He is highly regarded in the Nashville area as a leading Chiropractor working with a wide range of conditions and patients. He graciously accepted the award of “Tennessee Chiropractor of the Year by the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. On a personal note, he recently married his beautiful wife Michelle in May 2015. They have recently welcomed the birth of their first child Connor in February 2016.

Austin Carson

PR Manager, Billing Specialist

When I moved to the Nashville area in June of 2016, I came in search of a job. This started my career in the field of chiropractic. I began a job at an office where I learned all the “ins” and “outs” of chiropractic, including all of the health benefits. Not only did I work for a chiropractor, my wife and I began seeking care at the office. We began to see so many changes in our health that I became a believer in chiropractic! I had such a great experience with my own care while helping aid in others’ lives being changed daily. From seeing children overcome bedwetting and ADHD to adults who are finally free from years of pain, I have loved every minute of working for chiropractors.

When I started at Crist Chiropractic in November of 2017, I was looking to further my knowledge of chiropractic. I was welcomed into the family here as we all work alongside Dr. Crist in providing the best care possible! Doing all of this while still being part of a life-changing profession and seeing people overcome different issues is why I’ll be here for a long time!

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and singing at church, going to the park with my wife and dogs, and watching sports! LET’S GO PENS!

Courtney Lemmons

Patient Care Manager, Chiropractic Assistant

I started out in the health field at a very young age in the small town of Selmer, TN. My school offered a year-long clinical nursing internship, rotating in all fields of McNairy Regional Hospital. I absolutely loved it but couldn’t figure out which field made me the happiest. After attending the University of Tennessee at Martin for a few months, I made a hard decision of sticking with biology while finding my passion.

I knew I loved helping patients and changing lives but wanted to take a more holistic approach to it. That is where chiropractic has come into play. From helping toddlers walk again, to helping patients with digestive issues, to thyroid and even hormonal imbalances, I finally found my home. I get to help patients in all aspects, naturally!

On a more personal note, I am now planning a wedding and couldn’t be more excited! I spend my weekends painting, camping and loving my calico cat, Reecy! Oh, and GO VOLS!

Toshia Milks

In 2017, my eyes were opened to a whole new outlook on health and healing as I began a career in chiropractic. I served as a chiropractic assistant in a very fast paced office serving whole families, with a focus on pediatrics. Before beginning my career, I had no real knowledge of just how beneficial chiropractic care could be. I quickly found myself very passionate about being able to help and impact the lives of those around me, sharing the power of a natural approach to healing.  I also had a lot to gain from this new approach, as I had struggled with some pretty severe stomach pains and digestive complaints for years. After starting regular chiropractic care, I soon saw my issues become almost nonexistent.

When I began my search to further my career, I was looking for a place where I could expand my knowledge and continue to share my passion of health and healing through chiropractic care. Here with Dr. Crist and our team, I am confident I will be able to do just that. I am honored for the opportunity to grow with this family and serve the Williamson County area for years to come.

In my free time, I enjoy my time with my young son, Tallen. We recently bought our first home in Columbia. If we aren’t playing outside in our yard, we are at the park with our dogs Kylo and Obi, or we are playing somewhere in the water. We love staying active and spending time with our family and friends!
